I did that, but it kept giving me the "windows virtual memory minimum too low" pop-up from the task bar and after the computer would be on for ahwile and i tried to execute any process from going to a website or trying to open my computer it would give me an operation error (sorry I did not write them down) either involving dwwin.exe or rundll32.exe, and shut down IE or not perform the function I ran the upgrade and everything worked out fine except I had to reinstall IE7. I never really had any problems, it was just slightly annoying because everytime you shut down the comp it tried to install the updates, but always failed.Īnyways i found a reinstallation CD of XP with SP2 (but it came with my laptop and I'm currently working on my desktop) and decided to give it a shot to correct the sp2 problems. I have xp with sp2 and was having trouble with certain parts of sp2 that would not download.
